About Me
Hi, I’m Justin Varuzzo — a passionate Hudson Valley photographer with over 15 years of experience capturing love stories, laughter, and everything in between.
My journey into photography began as a teenager, camera in hand, exploring light, emotion, and human connection. Since then, I’ve grown into a full-time professional wedding photographer in Poughkeepsie, proudly serving couples across the Hudson Valley and beyond.
I specialize in a documentary-style approach, blending vibrant color and timeless black-and-white imagery. My goal is always the same: to preserve your most natural, candid, and beautiful moments — from quiet details to wild dance floor celebrations.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to study under some of the top wedding photographers in the country, shaping my style and sharpening my craft. Whether I’m photographing an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, I aim to tell each couple’s story with honesty, artistry, and heart.
If you’re looking for a Poughkeepsie wedding photographer or a trusted Hudson Valley photographer who brings passion and professionalism to every frame, I’d be honored to connect with you.
About My Equipment
When you hire me as your Hudson Valley photographer, you’re not just getting experience and artistry — you’re getting reliability and peace of mind. I use professional Canon cameras and lenses, trusted tools that consistently deliver stunning image quality in every lighting condition.
On your wedding day, I shoot with two Canon cameras, each equipped with dual memory card slots. Every image is instantly backed up in-camera, providing an extra layer of protection from the start. My second photographers use matching professional Canon gear and follow the same dual-card workflow to maintain consistency and security.
Throughout the day, we offload images multiple times to ensure your memories are safely stored as the event unfolds. As an added backup, my assistant photographer departs with a complete copy of all image files — one more step to safeguard your wedding story.
Your memories are too important to risk. That’s why we’ve built a workflow designed around redundancy, professionalism, and preparation — because capturing the moment is only part of the job; protecting it is just as essential.
